First Quarter Food Harvest
The quarterly food drive will be held Quarterly. The food collected will go to the Basic Needs Ministry at 40/42 for distribution to families in the Cleveland school area.

Oakland is joining forces with Johnston County Habitat for Humanity. Johnston County habitat for Humanity promotes home ownership and volunteers building houses in partnership with Johnston County residents in need of adequate housing.

Basic Needs Ministry
The Oakland Presbyterian Church family continues to collect food staples, which benefit area people in need of a helping hand. Collection boxes for staple foods are located throughout the church. The next quarterly Food Drive is scheduled for Sunday, April 6.

Golden Circle Bible Study (Brian Center)
A mission of the church to provide spiritual comfort to our senior folks in the community. Oakland volunteers travel to the Brian Center each Saturday to lead a time of worship and Bible study.

Barium Springs Home for Children
Under the direction of the Presbyterian Women, product labels from Campbell, Swanson, Pepperidge Farms, and Prego products are collected. The labels are sent to the Barium Springs Home for Children and help provide education and recreational equipment.
